Derwent Manor wedding photos

Derwent Manor Hotel has some great spaces indoors for wedding photography. While everyone dreams of a sunny day to get married on reality sometimes has other ideas. It’s great to have a plan B for these occasions and a wedding venue with some nice indoor spaces for wedding photos helps a lot with this.

I was booked to provide just two hours of coverage for Samantha and Lee’s wedding but a lot can be achieved in two hours of photography! We did manage to dodge the rain to get a few initial shots of the groom and groomsmen outside but after that the heavens opened and it was game over for outdoor shots for the remainder of the time. Time for plan B!

Plan B involved using some carefully pre-chosen spaces and some clever lighting. With this we still captured some memorable photos of Sam and Lee’s big day. For wedding photos it’s always good to have a plan B!
