I always SO enjoy photographing proposals! The sneaky plans, nerves, surprise and ultimately the joy after the ‘yes’ are such an honour to be able to witness and be a part of.
Emily had a big surprise in store for Jess and wanted it to be remembered with some beautiful photos of her proposal. Although they lived near me in Hartlepool she was very clear that she wanted to do it in front of Bamburgh castle. So that was the plan!
Although it was November we got lucky with the weather and after stalking them along the beach I was ready to capture the main event and all the emotions that went with it. As ever there were some fantastic reactions, joy, laughter, and of course, a ‘yes!’ After the main event we took some time to wander along the beach and dunes together to capture some more photos for them to remember the day by. Within a short while they received over 100 hi res images to keep.
Thanks to Emily for booking me to take photos of their proposal. Both Emily & Jess were so lovely to work with it made for a really enjoyable photos shoot.
