Durham wedding photographer

If you are looking for a Durham wedding photographer, take a look at my wedding photographs from Kim and Daniel’s gorgeous wedding held a stone’s throw from the romantic Durham Cathedral.

The preps and reception took place at St Chad’s, directly opposite the iconic Durham Cathedral - such a romantic place for a wedding. I captured all the busyness and delightful chaos that a wedding morning brings. And lots of bridesmaids!

The ceremony was a just a few minutes drive away at St Cuthbert’s Church. After a quick drive across to the church I arrived in time to capture photos of the groom’s arrival along with his best men and groomsmen.

After the emotional wedding ceremony it was time to dodge the rain and get some confetti photos and newly married pics before heading back to St Chad’s for the wedding reception.

After some celebrating and a bit of waiting for a break in the weather I managed to grab 5 minutes with the bride and groom (and a few bridesmaids) to have a wander and get some photos.

As you might spot, the break in the rain didn’t last long - at least they had an umbrella!
